Pride Is Not a Trend. And We're Not Going Anywhere.
June is Pride Month. And this year, more than most, it feels less like a celebration and more like a declaration.
That's okay. Declarations matter. So do celebrations. We're doing both.
I started Mutantur Labs because I believe the things you wear and carry should mean something. They should say something true about who you are, what you believe, and who you're showing up for. This month — and honestly, every month — that means showing up for my LGBTQ+ family and friends. Not performatively. Not because it's June. Because they're my people, and their fight is one worth wearing on your sleeve.
Why This Matters Right Now
Pride began as a riot. It was defiant and loud and necessary. Decades later, the defiance is still necessary — maybe more than it's been in a long time. Bans, rollbacks, erasure dressed up in polite language. The people I love are watching the news and wondering if the world still has room for them.
It does. We're going to make sure of it.
This isn't about rainbow logos slapped on products in June and removed on July 1st. This is about making something real — gear that says I see you, I'm with you, and I'm not going anywhere — for the people who need to hear it and the allies who mean it.
To My LGBTQ+ Friends and Family
I see you. I'm proud of you — not just in June, but always. The courage it takes to exist loudly and honestly in a world that sometimes pushes back is not something I take for granted. Thank you for letting me stand beside you.
And to anyone reading this who's still figuring things out, or who's afraid, or who just needs to know someone's in their corner: you belong here. Mutantur means everything changes — and we believe that's a good thing. The world is still changing. So are we. And the best chapters are still ahead.
